How can I help?

Bring your extra plastic bags to the food pantry. Our volunteers use the bags to distribute groceries to the needy a the food bank in Uniondale. Bring in canned and dry goods for our food pantry. Our volunteers will deliver them to the food bank in Uniondale. Lutheran Social Services of NY is putting together baskets for needy families. You can help by contributing items for these families, including: juice, apple cider, canned vegetables, cake mixes, pie crust, fillings, cranberry sauce, gravy, instant potatoes, napkins, coffee, hot chocolate, frozen turkey, stove top stuffing, pasta, pasta sauce, macaroni & cheese, jello, pudding, sugar, flour, hot & cold cereal, pancake mix & syrup. 

You don't have to donate money to make a difference. Volunteer your time!

Volunteers are needed in the following areas: 

• Acolyte

• Sunday School Teacher

• Lector

• Altar Guild

• Assisting Minister

• Choir

• Usher

• Youth Group Assistant
